- The Registration
Fee of $100.00 is payable at time of application and must be enclosed
with the Application Form and Statement of Account (does not apply to
siblings). Please be aware
that the Registration Fee is non-refundable unless the school is
unable to accommodate placement for your child.
- The Registration
Fee includes: Placement for
your child, Montessori and Related Literature on request and
Administration Fees.
- Payments are due
the first of each month. If your payment is not received at your
Campus by the 15th of the month, you will be billed with a $20.00
Service Charge.
- If a child is
withdrawn within the first month of attendance, a daily fee will be
charged and the balance of the payments refunded. After the first month, notice of
withdrawal must be given the first day of the month. If a child withdraws mid month, the
balance of the month is non-refundable.
- Please be aware
that if your child is absent, the child's place is held for him. As our expenses continue and this
space cannot be replaced with another applicant from the waiting list,
we regret that we cannot allow refunds or permit him/her to make up
that time outside of the regular class and time assigned that child.
- If a child is
absent for vacation, there will be no charge if notice is given the
first day of the month.
- Children may be
taken on walks. Children in
Durham will be evacuated in the event of a nuclear evacuation
(Pickering to Milner Campus and Ajax to Durham College) and will be
administered potassium iodide (K1) in the prescribed dose. Media coverage or photographs of
the children may be used for general advertising or educational
purposes.
- The School has
the prerogative to ask for a child to be withdrawn without notice.
- NSF CHEQUES are
subject to a penalty of $30.00 per cheque. Any future NSF CHEQUES must be replaced with a Certified
Cheque or Money Order. If a
parent requests the school to complete any additional forms, a $20.00
charge will apply.
- FOR ACCOUNTS THAT
ARE 1 MONTH IN ARREARS, A 2% PER MONTH LATE CHARGE WILL APPLY.
- THE SCHOOL MAY
WITHHOLD TAX RECEIPTS ON ANY OUTSTANDING AMOUNT.
Please be aware that information regarding any outstanding
accounts, once your child has been withdrawn from the school, may be
forwarded to a credit bureau.
